The dunes of the west coast, Jutland's surf beaches, the castles of Funen and Copenhagen's cycling culture all fit into a week's trip. Denmark by motorhome is seamless — a bridge from Sweden, good roads, a comprehensive campsite network and hygge in every village. Stay at Bellahøj Camping (5 km from the centre) or Absalon and switch to a bike. Practical tips ## How to make the most of your trip to Denmark - The Great Belt and Öresund bridges cost around DKK 380–530 for a motorhome. Book online for a 10% discount. - The Rødby–Puttgarden car ferry is the fastest way to Germany — 45 minutes and you're on Fehmarn. - Overnighting outside campsites is banned in Denmark — but there are over 300 ställplats spots. - All larger campsites have a heated pool and activities for children. ### Best season May–September. July is the busiest, while June and August are much calmer. ### From Ylihärmä Fastest via Vaasa–Umeå and the E4 to Malmö, then the Öresund bridge.
